Volunteer Positions Available

Each year Age Concern Somerset raises money through local community fundraising activities in Somerset and North Somerset. Volunteers are needed to help with these events which usually include a morning or afternoon collecting money inside or outside a prearranged retail establishment. Full support is given and the money raised is used locally to help fund our services to older people.
Time: Flexible
Commitment: 3 mornings or afternoons a year – usually on Saturdays or Sundays
Types of Activity
Interacting with the public so that people have the opportunity to donate their spare change and learn a little about what Age Concern Somerset does.
Skills and Qualifications
The Fundraising Volunteer positions are open to anyone over the age of 18. Of course an enthusiastic attitude is very welcome!
